1. What We Collect

We collect minimal data through this website only. Nothing is collected by the Dakera server software itself — that software runs entirely on your infrastructure and we have no access to it.

Data collected through dakera.ai:

• Analytics Page views, session duration, referral source, browser type, and country — collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Waitlist Email address — collected only when you voluntarily submit the waitlist or inquiry form on this website

We do not collect names, addresses, payment information, or any personally sensitive data beyond a voluntarily provided email address.

2. Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded via Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region (country level).

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to identify returning visitors and measure sessions. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage. We do not use analytics data to identify individuals.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by using a browser with tracking protection enabled.

3. Waitlist and Inquiry Forms

When you submit the waitlist form or an enterprise inquiry form on this website, we collect your email address and any optional information you provide (such as your name, company, or use case description).

We use this information solely to:

• Send you early access or product update communications related to Dakera
• Respond to enterprise or partnership inquiries you initiate

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You may request removal from our waitlist at any time by contacting us via LinkedIn.

4. The Self-Hosted Dakera Server

The Dakera memory server software — downloaded and run on your own infrastructure — does not transmit any data to Dakera AI. All agent memory, embeddings, and stored context remain on your servers.

We have no access to:

• Any data stored by your Dakera instance
• Agent conversations or memory content
• API keys or credentials used by your deployment
• Any queries made to or responses from your Dakera server

This is a core design principle of Dakera: your data stays on your infrastructure, period.

5. Cookies

This website uses cookies for analytics purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies.

Cookies set on dakera.ai:

• _ga Google Analytics — identifies unique visitors, expires after 2 years
• _ga_* Google Analytics 4 — stores session state, expires after 2 years
• _gtm* Google Tag Manager — used to control analytics tag firing

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use this website.

6. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 26 months (the GA4 default), after which it is automatically deleted by Google.

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal or we determine your address is no longer relevant to our communications. We review and purge inactive waitlist entries periodically.

7. Third-Party Services

This website uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — website analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
• Cloudflare Pages — website hosting and CDN (processes server-side request logs briefly for routing)

We do not use advertising networks, social login, or third-party payment processors on this website.

8. GDPR and Your Rights

Our legal basis for processing waitlist emails is your consent (by voluntarily submitting the form). Our legal basis for analytics is our legitimate interest in understanding website usage, balanced against the minimal privacy impact of anonymised analytics data.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited personal data we hold. Waitlist submissions are stored securely and access is restricted to authorised team members only. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

Given that we collect minimal data and do not store payment information or sensitive personal records, our exposure is limited.

10. Children's Privacy

This website and the Dakera product are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
